Our Mission Statement

To Preach the Word of God
To love the People of our community
The aim and purpose of this congregation is, and shall be, the assembling of believers for common edification, spiritual help, encouragement, admonition, and the promotion of Godly worship, and with the gifts and means the Lord has given us to strive together for the salvation of sinners and the furtherance of the Gospel at home and abroad (Acts 1:8); to maintain through teaching and discipline the Biblical standard of Christian conduct until the Lord Jesus Christ returns.

1.        We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be verbally inspired in the original manuscripts, without error, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith, doctrine, and life.  II Peter 1:20-21; II Timothy 3:15-17.
2.        We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three co-equal persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.      Luke 3:21-22; John 1:1; I John 5:7.
3.        We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the virgin Mary.  Matt. 1:20-23; John 1:14; Luke 1:35.
4.        We believe in the personality of Satan and other evil spirits, as the enemies of God, of the saints, and of the holy angels. II Cor. 11:14-15; Job 1:6-12; James 4:7.
5.        We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and are incapable of pleasing God, and in the case of those who reach moral responsibility, become culpable sinners, utterly lost, and that only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.  Rom. 5:12; 8:5-8; Eph. 2:2-3; Titus 3:5.
6.        We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, as the representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that no other manner of redemption is possible, and that all who believe in him are justified on the ground of His shed blood and resurrection.  I Cor. 15:1-4; Rom. 5; II Cor. 5:14-21
7.        We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into heaven, and in His personal bodily presence there for us as First Fruit, High Priest, and Advocate. John 20:19-28; Acts 1:1-11; Luke 24; Heb. 2:14-18; I Cor. 15:23. I John 2:1.
8.        8. We believe in that blessed hope, the personal, bodily, visible, pre-millennial, and imminent return of our glorious Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and that this "Blessed Hope" has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.   Acts 1:11; Titus 2:11-14; John 14:1-3.
9.        We believe that the true Church is composed of all such persons who through saving faith in Christ Jesus have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are thus united together in the body of Christ, of which He is the Head. Each member is of equal value and is equally needed.  Eph. 4:1-16; I Cor. 12:12-27; Eph. 1:22-23; Col. 1:18; Gal. 3:27-28.
10.        We believe that those who are thus members of the true Church should continue in fellowship, prayer, and breaking of bread in the local church. Acts 2:42; Heb. 10:25.
11.        We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and during this age to convict men, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct and empower believers for godly living and service.                                  John 16:7-11; Luke 11:11-13; II Cor. 6:16; I Cor. 2:10-16; 6:19; Acts 1:8; Rom. 8:14-16; Heb. 2:4; I Cor. 12, 13, 14.
12.        We believe that at death, all men continue in conscious existence, awaiting the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust; the saved to everlasting blessedness and the lost to everlasting conscious torment.                Luke 16:19-31; John 5:28-29; Rev. 20:12-15; Rev. 20:6.
13.        We believe that the Lord's supper and water baptism are ordinances to be observed by the church during this present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as a means of salvation. I Cor. 11:23-24; Luke 22:19-20; I Peter 3:21; Rom. 6:4; Col. 2:12; Matt. 28:19.
14.        We believe that divine healing is a part of the provision of Christ and that through the gifts of healing, the laying on of hands, the anointing with oil, or by simple faith alone, physical healing and deliverance from infirmities are for today in accordance to God's will and purposes.   I Cor. 12:9-10; Heb. 2:4; I John 5:14-15.
15.        We believe that believers are called into a life of separation from sinful practices, and that they should take every opportunity to promote righteousness and godliness.   James 4:4; Rom. 12:1-2; I John 2:15-17; II Cor. 6:13-18; Rom. 13:1-10.
16.        We believe in the importance of the laying on of hands for an effective, functioning ministry. Luke 4:40; Mark 16:17-18; Acts 14:3; James 5:14-15; Gen. 48:14-16; Mark 10:13, 16; Deut. 34:9; Rom. 1:11-12; I Tim. 4:14; II Tim. 1:6; Acts 6:3-6; Acts 13:2-4; I Tim. 5:22.
17.        We believe that tithes, offerings, and alms giving are a privilege fore all believers, and that giving is a prerequisite for receiving God's blessing, to be done of a free will, joyfully, as a man purposes in his own heart before God. Gen. 14:18-20; Mal. 3:8-10; Matt. 6:1-4; II Cor. 8:1-15; II Cor. 9:1-13; Gal. 2:10; Phil. 4:14-18.
18.        We believe that the church's sole business, through the preparation of the saints with no worldly alliances, is to shed the light of the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ continuously in all the world, looking for the Lord's return. Matt. 28:18-20; Luke 19:13; Mark 16:14-20 II Cor. 10:13-16; Eph. 4:11-13; I Peter 2:9.

Back in the 1960's dedicated locals built this little church as a place for families to worship.  The hope is that you too will find it a place to worship the One and True God.  We make that boast on the basis of the authority of the Bible.  Our format is simple.  Our emphasis is a personal relationship with God through the Lord Jesus Christ.
